Sprig

Turn in better work, on time, without the last-minute panic.

Know what’s due. Understand it better. Turn it in on time.

Sprig watches your Canvas calendar and gives you a morning reminder about upcoming work — so you start early instead of at 11pm. Then, when you’re ready, it reads your draft and shows you how to make it stronger.

It’s a safe place to be stuck. No grade attached, nobody to be embarrassed in front of, and it never just tells you the answer.

Your school needs to use Canvas. That’s where Sprig gets your due dates from, and it’s the only system it reads today.

No password. Nothing to install. Create a student or parent account with your email. Your account type stays the same each time you sign in.

Nothing sneaks up

Paste your Canvas calendar link once. Sprig checks in each morning about unfinished work due soon — so nothing gets discovered the night before.

Stuck? Start anyway

You don’t need a finished draft. Show Sprig half an essay or a problem you can’t crack, and it points out a useful next step without doing the work for you.

Hand in something better

Fix the weak spots before your teacher finds them. Better work, handed in on time, usually means better grades — and you got there yourself.

Watch it grow

Finish things on time and your plant grows. Miss one and it waits for you — it never dies.

Sprig will never give you the answer

Not “tries not to” — it’s built so it can’t. Here’s the same piece of homework, both ways.

What Sprig won’t say

“That’s wrong. The plant should go near the coal, because coal loses more weight than iron ore during smelting.”

What it actually says

“You’ve only accounted for the iron ore’s weight. Weber’s triangle has two raw-material corners — what happens to the coal?”

It also won’t rewrite your sentences, confirm a guess, or walk through the steps on your own numbers. After five follow-up questions it stops and tells you to go change the work.

What Sprig can and can’t touch

You paste one link — the private calendar feed Canvas already gives you, under Calendar → Calendar Feed. It lets Sprig read your due dates, and that is all it can do.

  • It can’t turn work in or change anything you’ve submitted.
  • It can’t see or change your grades.
  • It can’t edit your calendar or add anything to Canvas.

Remove the link whenever you like and the assignments go with it. Delete your account and everything goes.
